Returns Policy
If you need to return an item, you will need to Contact Us first with your order number and details about the product you would like to return. We will respond quickly with instructions for how to return items from your order.
As a general rule, you will receive a full refund if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc. which of course is highly unlikely) and we'll also pay the return shipping costs if such an event should arise.
You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).
Keeping in mind that all items are shipped direct from the USA, returns can present a problem, particularly with regards to freight. The following terms and conditions apply to these products:
Torklift GlowStep Range (GlowSteps, Stow N' Go, Revolution) and Torklift Turnbuckles
If you have ordered to incorrect steps with regard to the number of steps or the depth of steps etc. we can help out. If you need an additional step, we can supply an add a step at a reduced cost. Similarly if you need one less step then we can show you how to remove a step from the system you purchased. If you ordered 15cm wide steps and wanted 20cm steps then we can take them back into our Australian warehouse and give supply the size you need but you will have to pay the freight. This applies to the entire Turnbuckle and GlowStep range; if you have ordered the wrong part we will exchange it for the right one but you need to pay the freight back to our Australian warehouse and also from USA to you for the correct part. We make a profit margin on our sales and we don't need to be donating it back to the freight industry if the mistake was yours. We do put detailed descriptions on all products for sale and if you are not sure then you can contact us before you place an order.
Torklift Tie Downs/Anchor Brackets and Torklift Towbars/Hitches and associated products:
These items are heavy and return freight is so expensive it is impractical. These are all make/Model/Year specific and we don't want them returned to our Australian warehouse and, while they can be returned to the USA warehouse, the freight is at best prohibitive. For example, if you ordered a set of Tie Downs/Anchor Brackets or a Towbar/Hitch for a 2004 Ford F350 Super Duty Diesel 4 wheel drive Long Bed or LWB with running boards and then discovered you had a 2003 model and the parts did not fit when they arrived, the freight cost to return these items to USA could be as much as 75% of the original cost. Returning them to my Australian Warehouse would be cheaper but, to be blunt, I don't want it back. It could sit there for 10 years or maybe never sell, depending on whether that model Ford ever made it to Australia.

You can rest assured that it is always our aim to ensure we have happy customers with correct parts for their truck. At the same time I don't want a precision engineered part with a lifetime warranty that I have to sell for scrap metal value due to the fact that it is not saleable in Australia.

We can ship to virtually any address in Australia from this site and to virtually any address worldwide from our affiliated eBay store.
Note we offer free shipping Australia wide but there are some isolated areas that may incur a surcharge. If you are living in an isolated region you should check with us first.
We ship all Torklift products direct from the warehouse in USA. This is considerably cheaper for you than if we had to bring the products into Australia and then ship them from our warehouse to you. Freight from USA is subsidised but takes 3 weeks to arrive on average. Express freight is available as well, takes 3 to 4 days and costs so much you will wonder why you asked!
